Housing is a basic need and thousands of families are struggling to have a roof over their heads. Rapid population growth, scarcity of government resources, urbanization and the development imbalances between urban and rural areas have compounded the housing problem. In big Cities/Towns this problem has become further worsen. The site of the town is situated just 06 KM from Karak City. 

The Scheme envisage to provide 949 Nos residential plots of various sizes (one kanal,10-Marla,07-Marla 05-Marla and 03-Marla) with allied facilities i/c Public utility and commercial plots.

The Main  Operations\Functions of this Authority are as under:-

1. To provide  housing facilities in Urban area of District Karak

2. To execute all kinds of developmental schemes in the urban area duly financed by the provincial/Federal Govt.

3. Any other objectives/functions assigned by Provincial/Federal Govt.

4. Over all development of the township.

5. Provision of Drinking water to the residents of the township.

6. Development /Rehabilitation of the sewerage system.

7. Solid waste collection through container management system.

8. Development / Rehabilitation of public parks and green spaces.

9. Enforcement of Building By laws of the township.

10. Approval of Building plans.
